    Needing to program controlers that don't show up in the maxisys pro. Can I program with the j2534 and a labtop? What about software for the labtop? Please help...

    2008 chrysler pt cruiser. Restraint control module. I need to puul config files from old module and transfer to the new one. Rcm files are not available in techauthority

    there is a file in techauthority  with name  J2534 Application  you can download it and install it on your PC.

    IT AS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE SO FAR THAT THE PAS THRU WORKS GREAT AS A STAND ALONE WITH MY LAPTOP. I'VE DONE NUMEROUS GM, AND FORD. AS FAR AS CHRYSLER I'M TOLD IT WORKED WELL ON ''LEGACY'' CARS BUT THE EW STUFF HAS TO HAVE WITECH. IT WILL NOT DO ANY OTHER MAKES OUTSIDE OF GM FREE SUBSCRIPTION  (PROGRAMMING) WHEN CONNECTED  TO THE TABLET. THE REASON WHY IS THE OPERATING SYSTEM. ANDROID HAS BEEN A SUCCESS AS FAR AS SPEEDING UP THINGS BUT THERE HAS BEEN ISSUE WITH SUPPORTED FUNCTIONS. SOME OEM SITE WON'T EVEN LET YOU NAVIGATE OR 'TICK'.
